Scott Baldwin started BlackArrow Insurance back in 2002 (called Iventure at the time) over the past 20 years he has grown it into the largest insurance agency in Greenville, NC and has now expanded to Whiteville, NC.
Perry brings a wealth of experience from the mortgage industry, where he met Scott and Russell. Together, they saw an opportunity to join forces and create BlackArrow Insurance. Now working as an insurance agent, Perry focuses on providing clients with the best coverage and solutions for their needs. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his son at sports events, and participating in church activities. His passion for helping others and commitment to personal relationships makes him a valued member of the BlackArrow team.
Russell's primary background is in the mortgage lending industry, where he spent over 30 years honing his expertise. Throughout his career, he learned that whether it’s mortgages or insurance, success boils down to three key principles: Communication, Execution, and Relationships. These values have always been the cornerstone of his work, both in the mortgage business and now at Black Arrow Insurance. At the heart of everything he does is a commitment to helping clients achieve their financial and personal goals through thoughtful, strategic solutions. That’s what truly excites him about connecting with clients and business partners.
On a personal level, his motivations come from God, his fiancée, their children, and his family. Outside of work, he focuses on enjoying life with his loved ones and making the most of every weekend. But when he is in work mode, he's a passionate mortgage professional and financial strategist at heart, always eager to solve problems and find the best solutions for his clients.
I was born and raised in Columbus County and bring 24 years of customer service experience to my work. For over 17 years, I've been a licensed Property & Casualty agent in both North and South Carolina. I'm proud to be married with three incredible sons. Outside of work, I enjoy teaching Sunday school at my church, attending various sporting events, and supporting my sons in Boy Scouts.
Each day in insurance presents new challenges, and I love the variety it brings. No two situations are ever the same, which keeps me learning and growing in my field, and I truly enjoy helping others navigate their insurance needs.
Adam is a licensed life insurance agent based in Whiteville, NC. He has a deep passion for teaching, which drives his approach to helping clients understand their insurance needs and make informed decisions. Adam is dedicated to providing excellent service and education, ensuring his clients are well-equipped to secure their financial future.
Born and raised in the small town of Whiteville, NC, Taylor has built a solid foundation in customer service, having spent 12 years serving residents through the state of North Carolina. In 2022, Taylor began their insurance career by specializing in life insurance for North Carolina residents. With plans to expand into property and casualty insurance, Taylor is committed to offering top-notch care and personalized solutions to customers.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with heir fiancé and their two wonderful stepchildren. Passionate about ministry, photography, and reading, they make the most of their free time pursuing what they love. Always embracing the motto, “Why put off for tomorrow what can be done today,” Taylor looks forward to connecting with clients and helping them achieve their goals
Macelynn is a proud mother who finds her greatest joy in spending quality time with her children. Her faith is a central part of her life, and she’s passionate about growing in her relationship with God. A beach lover at heart, Macelynn enjoys soaking up the sun and embracing the peacefulness of the coast. She believes in staying active and living life to the fullest, always finding ways to keep both her body and spirit energized. Whether she’s with family, enjoying the outdoors, or serving others, Macelynn brings heart and purpose to everything she does.
Jake is passionate about serving others and creating meaningful connections through his work. A 2024 graduate of UNC Wilmington, he holds a degree in Communication Studies with a double minor in Nonprofit Management & Leadership and Leadership Studies—an academic foundation that reflects his heart for people and his drive to lead with purpose. Outside the office, Jake enjoys exploring new coffee shops and local restaurants, playing music, and traveling to catch his favorite artists live in concert. Whether he’s working with clients or discovering a new city, Jake brings energy, authenticity, and a genuine love for connection to everything he does.
Stone has had a passion for technology since the age of 12, and this early interest has shaped their career and life. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems.
Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys staying active with sports and staying involved with his church community. With a deep love for technology and a well-rounded lifestyle, Stone continues to pursue both his career goals and personal passions
